Trip to St. Louis

Here are just a few pictures from our weekend in St. Louis. We went out Friday afternoon and stayed with my cousin Laura, Greg and their son Henry in Collinsville. We grilled out that evening and visited with them, their friends, and my Uncle Larry, Aunt Donna, and cousin Doug. Then Saturday morning we headed to Grant's Farm and the kids had a fun morning. As you can see by the first picture we were not brave enough to get in with the goats. The boys feel asleep on the way home and as they took their afternoon nap, the adults relaxed by the pool. I can not remember the last time I felt that relaxed....just to lay by the pool and nobody tugging on you or wanting something. Then that evening we went out for dinner in Maryville at a Italian restaurant Alfonzo's. It reminded of Joe's Pizza, it was good. Sunday morning we got up and headed to the St. Louis Zoo. I think Brayden liked the gorilla's/monkeys the best. The next picture is of Brayden and I in front of the tank with the hippos, but of course they were at the other end. The last picture is of my cousin Laura, her son Henry, Brayden and I. Laura bought them matching outfits. Last year they just happened to have the same outfit on, so it's going to be an annual thing until they refuse to let us dress them!!! I so enjoy going to visit my cousin Laura. We are 4 days apart and when we were kids we would each spend a week with the other. I always thought I was going to the "Big City"! We had a great weekend and Greg, Laura, & Henry were wonderful hosts!!! I check Amber's blog daily and she has some awesome pictures of the zoo.
