This year I have decided to walk in The March of Dimes walk on April 25th with my cousin Laura in St. Louis at Forest Park. I feel this has helped out so many people I know and It is a great cause!!!! If you would like to sponsor me you can click on my sidebar to donate.
I will be walking on Team Henry!! My cousin Laura & Greg have a healthy and happy boy Henry who will be actually 3yrs. old in November. He was due on January 17th...the same day Brayden was due the year before. He was born 11 weeks early, but due to March of Dimes and all the wonderful technology today he pulled through wonderfully being born so early! Also my best friend Robin had a baby boy born premature also and he is 5 years old today!!!! It just makes cry to think how they both started out and how well they are doing today! I've joined March for Babies because the March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will help:
- support all-important research offering preventions and solutions for babies born too soon or with birth defects
- educate women on things they can do to increase their chances of having a healthy baby
- provide comfort and information to families with a newborn in intensive care
- push for newborn screening and health insurance for all pregnant women and children

I think it is great that you are raising money for such a good cause. I worked in the Neonatal Intesive Care unit when I first became a nurse. The March of Dimes really does a lot for these babies, especially in education and research. Good for you and have fun. It will be so cool to do a walk in Forrest Park.
