Well I have tried to download pictures 3 times and I am giving it up for now. It has been a nice relaxing weekend. Today I made some awesome chili and thought I would share the recipe with everyone. I got this recipe from my friend Christy and I actually think she got it from her mother-in-law.
Michigan Bell Pioneer Chili
2 lbs. beef
1 1/3 c. onions
1/2 c. green pepper
1/3 c. celery
2 small garlic cloves( i used minced garlic)
1-16oz. diced tomatoes
1-15 oz. tomato sauce
1 1/2 c. water
1 TBSP. tomato paste
3 TBSP. chopped green chili's
3 TBSP. chili powder
2 TBSP. sugar
1 tsp. beef bouillon
1 tsp. bottled hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 bay leaf (take out before serving)
1/3 c. beer
1-15oz. kidney beans
Saute the celery, onions, and green pepper with the meat.
Then mix all the ingredients together in a dutch oven and cook at least for 30 min.
I am also hungry for some cookies, but I know who will eat them all.......me!!! I am sure with the help from Brayden.
Well I thought Brayden was down for his nap, but he just came upstairs and said Mom I woke Up!! (he had probably been in his room long enough for me to type this) So I tried to lay him back down again. ......
