Well I have made it to 32 weeks.....it is hard to believe!! The closer the time gets the more nervous or scared I get. You may be wondering why I chose my new background.....cupcakes!!! Well I would LOVE to eat as many that are on this page!!!!! About 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and with me carrying twins I was at a higher risk. I have always been lucky or I don't know what you call it, but I just ate whatever I wanted. Didn't really think though that I was much of a sweet eater until I really can't have any.......
So I have a whole new respect for the diabetic patient....and I see a lot of these in my line of work as a dental hygienist. Now they will be looked at in a whole NEW light. I said I would never complain during this pregnancy, but I hate testing my blood sugar....it's not that big of deal, but I hate that little prick you know it's coming. The one good thing about pregnancy diabetes is that most likely it goes away as soon as you deliver your baby or babies. I just think Wow I can't imagine having this my whole life. Just a lot of thinking goes into everything I put into my mouth or that I cook. The good news so far is.....No, insulin. My cousin had the same thing with her 2nd child and she said it is really no big deal. I just hate the thought of another thing to do. But I will do what ever it takes!!!!
I have my next doctor's appointment on Monday and will get to see how big these babies are getting. The last ultrasound said they were a little over 3 lbs., but who knows how close that is to the actual weight.
We were talking about the babies the other evening with Brayden. And said Brayden you are a pretty special "BIG BROTHER" to get 2 babies....a lil brother and lil sister. Brayden just smiled great big and said "I know!"
I have not been good about updating my blog and I am sorry to all you blog stalkers out there, but I am just getting you prepared for when the babies come....I don't know if it will ever get updated.......

Congrats on 32 weeks! Sorry to hear about the diabetes, definitely not fun...but like you said, at least it's not long term.
Enjoy the time with Brayden the next several weeks. He is a very special BIG brother!!!
Wow, I am getting nervous for you!!! You will do fine! I can't imagine having to go without food at this point!! I eat cereal and/or ice cream daily. And it isn't the good for you kind!!!
Thanks for the update. I wondered how the new diet was going. Especially since you really can't do alot else:) Keep hanging in there. 32 weeks is really good. And last time I saw you I thought you looked really great!
